The Nonprofit Office provides software tools designed to help nonprofit organizations better understand workplace and real estate planning considerations. Features of the platform may include:
- Organizational intake assessments
- The Space Stability Score (SSX)
- Scenario planning tools
- Board-ready summaries
- Historical assessment tracking
- Decision-support insights The Service translates organizational inputs (such as funding structure, staffing levels, lease timing, and governance context) into analytical insights intended to support planning and internal discussions. The Service is intended for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, accounting, or real estate advice.
3. Eligibility
Users must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Use the Service on behalf of a legitimate organization
- Provide accurate information when completing assessments The platform is designed primarily for nonprofit organizations evaluating workplace or facility decisions.
4. User Accounts
User accounts may be created through authentication services provided by Clerk. Users are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials
- All activity that occurs under their account
- Ensuring authorized individuals within their organization use the platform appropriately
5. Beta Software Notice
The Service may be offered in beta, preview, or early-access form. Users acknowledge that beta software:
- May contain bugs, errors, or inaccuracies
- May experience interruptions or incomplete functionality
- May change materially as the platform evolves Outputs generated during the beta period may change as the system improves. If users encounter a bug or error, they are encouraged to report it to: info@thenonprofitoffice.com Feedback submitted during the beta period may be used to improve the Service.
6. User Inputs and Platform Outputs
The Service generates outputs based on information provided by users. Users acknowledge that:
- Outputs depend on the accuracy of submitted information

- Platform insights are not guarantees of outcomes The Nonprofit Office is not responsible for decisions made based on platform outputs.
7. Artificial Intelligence Usage
Certain features of the platform rely on artificial intelligence services provided by OpenAI. AI-generated outputs:
- Are produced algorithmically
- May contain inaccuracies
- Should be reviewed by users before being relied upon The Service is designed to support organizational planning but does not replace professional judgment.
8. Payments and Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions may be offered to access additional features. Payments are processed through Stripe. Subscription terms may include:
- Monthly billing
- Annual billing Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. The Nonprofit Office does not store full payment card information.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, technology, and methodologies associated with the platform are the intellectual property of The Nonprofit Office. This includes:
- The SSX analytical framework
- Scenario modeling tools
- Platform software
- Interface design
- Reports and outputs Users receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for internal organizational purposes. Users may not:
- Reverse engineer the scoring methodology
- Replicate the platform’s analytical models
- Resell platform outputs
10. Confidentiality and Data Use
The Nonprofit Office treats organizational inputs as confidential. However, we may use aggregated and anonymized data to:
- Improve the platform
- Develop industry insights
- Produce benchmark reports
- Conduct internal research Individual organizations will not be identified without consent.
11. Third-Party Services
The platform relies on third-party infrastructure providers, including:
- Supabase — database and storage infrastructure
- Vercel — hosting and deployment
- Clerk — authentication services
- Stripe — payment processing
- OpenAI — AI services These providers operate under their own privacy and security policies.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” The Nonprofit Office makes no warranties regarding:
- Accuracy of analytical outputs
- Organizational outcomes
- Financial decisions
- Real estate strategy Users should consult appropriate advisors before making major decisions.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Nonprofit Office shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Lost revenue or business interruption
- Decisions made based on platform outputs Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Service in the previous 12 months.
14. Termination
The Nonprofit Office may suspend or terminate access if users:
- Violate these Terms
- Attempt to misuse the platform
- Attempt to reverse engineer proprietary systems
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
